Trellis

I stepped from the hot dusty car and inhaled deeply. My senses were met by the lovely scent of delicate flowers.
There in the middle of what appeared to be no where, stood a trellis entrance covered with lovely roses, ivy and other flowers. Just a small stone path lead through the center and into the most beautiful breath taking garden I have ever seen. It seemed to go  forever luring me on.
Many colors of butterflies danced among the blossoms. Birds chirped merrily above in small branches.
Slowly I strolled , tiptoeing quietly in the daisies, daffodils, iris and buttercups. I meandered through the rows of violets and lilies until the path ended at another lovely trellis .
It was so peaceful. A gentle cool breeze engulfed me from the water pooled behind me.
I have no idea how long I sat there, refreshing body, mind and spirit. But when I rose to leave all the problems I had needed to sort out were in place and  I knew I could now go on.
A few months later I tried to retrace all my route to find the garden. I never did find it . Yet it remains in my heart and mind to escape to.
